Job Responsibilities : Business Development Specialist

As a Business Development Coordinator, you will:

  • Provide administrative support for capture
  • Coordinate meetings, including managing calendars, providing technical support, taking notes, and recording action items
  • Organize files and information for projects
  • Set up virtual white boards for brainstorming
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and graphics
  • Respond promptly to internal requests for information
  • Conduct market and competitor research; synthesize results for quick uptake by busy staff
  • Complete other administrative/data related tasks as assigned

As a Business Development Coordinator, you will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 2 years of prior experience in a consulting environment:
  • Ability to use MS Teams, SharePoint, and Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience conducting qualitative research

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong critical thinking and analytical thinking skills
  • Strong time management skills; ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment balancing competing deadlines and requests
  • Exceptional level of attention to detail
  • Experience with the business development process
  • Experience consulting with Federal or state/local government and familiarity with government contracting
