The Process & Quality Improvement Lead Advisor will be aligned to support the US Medical organization under the alignment of Process Performance & Insights. This role requires the ability to dive deep into business processes to gain expertise, advising and leading complex projects, and the ability to design and build process models and controls. This includes the ability to influence key process owners leading teams in order to improve process accuracy through continuous improvement to meet business outcomes.

Job responsibilities include:

Ability to design and update process models, based on evidence of defects and/or business direction, ensuring that process outcomes remain stable or optimized

Ability to create process solutions based on data analysis and evidence of defective patterns found in data

Ability to handle multiple projects at once, and drive organizational process optimization based on quality drivers. This includes the evaluation of requirements, utilization, adoption, benefits and defects related to defect trends and analysis

Ability to quickly and precisely simulate process, determine and quickly escalate any barriers to process outcomes, provide measured results, and correlate results to desired outcomes

Identify, lead, and manage rapid process improvement efforts and conduct quantitative analysis of process effectiveness using both proven and new methods

Ability to navigate process simulation and understanding across multiple lines of business

Able to communicate very effectively and keep extremely detailed planning for multiple projects

Able to determine next steps and actions concisely and communicate in a way that drives clarity

Comfortable with statistics and visualizing findings and data in a consumable format

Identify and implement Best Practices

Assist in designing a program to build early intervention for process risk mitigation

Ability to present to peers and leadership clearly and concisely, creating presentations and summaries that provide value within the appropriate context

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher strongly preferred or equivalent work experience required.

5+ years of experience working in the healthcare industry.

3+ years of experience in continuous improvement – preferably in a transactional environment.

1-2 years healthcare data experience and demonstrated understanding of health care and delivery systems processes

Proficiency in SharePoint, MS EXCEL and competency in MS Office and MS Visio, Blueworks, Minitab and other statistical toolsets

Understands and works within business process engineering competencies

Demonstrated knowledge of statistical process controls

Excellent writer, communicator and storyteller

Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders

Strong analytical skills with an ability to analyze processes and make recommendations for improvements

Familiar in Change Management techniques
