Job Responsibilities : IT Support Engineer

Responsibilities Include:

- Provide hardware, software and network support for a blended macOS and Windows operating environment
- Monitor corporate central ticketing system to ensure timely response and resolution of tech support issues within defined SLA in the IT Support framework
- Install, make changes and diagnose computer software and hardware
- Provision and manage access for all end-user IT applications
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding tasks. Work to continually improve and streamline the process
- A hardware procurement and asset management
- Participate in IT projects and work collaboratively with cross functional teams
- Document internal procedures, recommend new solutions and ensure our processes are always improving
- Work with users, vendors and management to help define needs to facilitate departmental business plans
- Stay current with new and emerging technologies and paradigms
Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in the field of Information Technology, Computer Science and/or relevant industry certification and experience
- 3-5 years of experience supporting end-user IT applications
- Strong technical support experience building, deploying and troubleshooting computer systems, hardware, peripherals and software
- Familiarity with the command line and administrative functions of Macs and Windows machines
- Basic network administration and troubleshooting experience
- Working knowledge of Atlassian, Google Workspace, JAMF, Office 365, Okta, Slack and Zoom
- Experience using support ticket management systems such as Zendesk, JIRA Service Desk etc.
- Excellent customer service, problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work well under tight deadlines, respond to rapidly changing demands and fulfill efficient follow ups
- Strong sense of ownership, critical thinking and urgency with great attention to details
- Proficiency with Mac OSX, Windows and iOS computers/devices
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:

- 1-3 years experience working within an IT team in a hyper-growth environment or startup
- Experience supporting remote workforce
- Experience or participated in automation initiatives of employee onboarding and offboarding process a plus
