Overview:
Case Investigators
Current Pennsylvania Resident is required
Responsibilities:
Case Investigators shall work in collaboration with designated Department leadership to coordinate outreach to individuals who have been diagnosed with COVID-19, provide information regarding isolation and containment to those individuals, and gather information regarding those individuals’ close contacts.
- Case Investigators shall complete all aspects of the case investigation interview, including gathering information from individuals diagnosed with COVID-19 and, where necessary, escalating issues to appropriate resources by Department-approved procedures for follow-up.
- Case Investigators shall collect and enter case information into the appropriate systems with completeness and accuracy at the time of the interview. Case Investigators shall not create separate files or databases outside of the appropriate IT systems as approved by the Department.
- Case Investigators shall maintain daily contact with the Department regarding completed outreaches and any escalations noted.
- Case Investigators shall work collaboratively with Contact Tracers and Social Support Coordinators through an integrated workflow across multiple systems.
- Case Investigators shall complete a PA-NEDSS authorization form that requires approvals of the Department’s Bureau of Community Health Systems and the Bureau of Epidemiology

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have a quiet, distraction-free work environment without any conflicting responsibilities during your scheduled work shift. This position could move to on-site call centers at a later date.
- Must have access to good/reliable and secure WiFi. Internet connection must be capable of speeds of 2Mbps upload and 4Mbps download
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
- Health-related professional experience is a plus.
- Supervisory experience is a plus
