Position
Resources with understanding of vendor management operations to help client manage the supplier financial operations
Role
The primary role is to support client’s supplier financials management process. This will require to manage and execute the process workflow with standard operating procedures and tools. This role is based out in Bangalore but to be delivered in virtual remote environment for period of next 3 months.
The responsibilities of the role include:
- Receive the demand for services from different departments in the defined template and check for completeness
- Coordinate approval of the demand across different stakeholders as per approval framework
- Engage with the selected supplier to finalize the Statement of Work (SOW) and review the SOW for completeness against the defined client practices
- Interpret the SOW for the client’s digital team to upload the SOW information on the vendor management digital platform
- Work with other downstream teams to generate the Purchase Order (PO) for the suppliers for contracted SOWs
- Periodically review (weekly/monthly basis) and report consumption of PO against supplier delivered services
- Execute pre-billing validation for suppliers and provide confirmation to bill
- Coordinate timely payment of the supplier invoices
- Provide rolling forecast of supplier spend based on the supplier spend database maintained
- Ensure overall process execution against defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)/ timelines
- Follow-up with various stakeholders in timely manner to ensure processes are executed smoothly
- Assist with the timely and frequent submission of management information, project status, savings reporting and forecasting
- Support improvement in processes, policy, management information and reporting
Qualifications
- Graduate minimum
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong excel skills
- Demonstrated interest in operational excellence with 3-5 years of experience
- Understanding of Backend finance processes
- Exposure to shared services operations will be a plus
- Experience in interacting with clients and managing tactical client interactions
- Understanding of process automation tools and techniques will be a plus
- Willingness and ability to take initiative and learn independently.
