Financial Consultant Jobs for Freshers 2021 – Telecommute

Primary Responsibilities:

• Owner of bid model design, process, error-check, algorithm integrity, and user interaction for iterative versions of Medicare Advantage Non-Benefit Expense (NBE) annual bid submission. Includes update of consolidated model, integration of sub-models, managing related party model, reporting, timely submissions and bid question responses to Underwriting and Actuary, and analytical support for CMS bid audits
• Optum (Insight) intersegment, and admin and overhead direct planning and financial analysis, month end close and accruals, budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and financial reporting. Prepares rollforwards and variance analysis during forecast cycles to clearly articulate actual results, forecasted performance, and variances to prior forecast and budget
• Develops on-going knowledge of intersegment contracts, business relationships, and knowledge of ISA process
• Support the on-going administrative cost segmentation requests of broader finance reporting via application technologies (e.g. SAS or excel). Reporting includes regional forecast reporting and HPBP cost allocation inputs to market management reporting (MML)
• Deploy common principles and tactics of critical thinking to financial analyses. Select from multiple right answers. See subtle connections between data points that are not apparent to others. Integrate and synthesize information in unique ways that provide a new perspective. Use of analytical tactics to expose underlying principles or elements and exploring alternate scenarios that could result in more creative solutions

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field
• 3+ years of financial analysis experience
• Intermediate to advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Financial acumen

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Hyperion Essbase / Smart View
• Financial planning and analysis experience
• Entry level SAS skills
• Proven communication skills at all levels of an organization
• Ability to work collaboratively and influence across a matrix environment
