Primary Responsibilities :
- Provide expertise or general claims support by reviewing, researching, investigating, negotiating, processing and adjusting claims within current turnaround standards
- Ability to understand and apply plan concepts to include:
– Deductible
– Coinsurance
– Copay
– Out-of-pocket
– State variations
- Consistently meet established productivity, schedule adherence and quality standards
- Some work is completed without established procedures
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
This is a challenging role that takes an ability to thoroughly review, analyze and research complex health care claims in order to identify discrepancies, verify pricing, confirm prior authorizations and process them for payment. You’ll need to be comfortable navigating across various computer systems to locate critical information. Attention to detail is critical to ensure accuracy, which will impact the timely processing of the member’s claim.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation in any discipline. B Tech / BE / MCA / MBA / B Pharm / M Pharm are not eligible to apply
- Only Freshers are required
- Proficiency with Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to navigate multiple programs and learn new computer system applications
- Good communication skills, written and verbal
- Good typing speed (English) and accuracy
- Ability to multi-task, this includes ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product
- Ability to remain focused and productive each day though tasks may be repetitive
- Flexible working from office / home and night shifts
Preferred Qualifications:
- Moderate work experience in a related environment (i.e. office, administrative, clerical, customer service, etc.) using phones and computers as the primary job tools
- Result-oriented and goal-driven
- Analytical ability: Research skills combined with effective decision-making and superior interpersonal skill
- Strong comprehension with verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to accept constructive criticism with being coached and growing as a professional.
