Job Description
Foreign Military Sales Analyst will be responsible to lead or assist in the delivery of required services products in support of U.S. Attorneys in ongoing litigation activities between United States Navy and Imperial Iranian Navy, with a goal for case reconciliation. Other responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Researching, analyzing, correlating and developing pertinent information and proper documentation to support the U.S. case with respect to Iranian Litigation;
- Provide administrative or technical project assistance by performing document preparation, data collaboration, or other office duties such as data entry and data reconciliation;
- Researching and locating evidence for individual billing lines pertaining to the Navy cases; and
Experience:
- Task management and professional expertise which may span multiple disciplines and complexities related to foreign military sales and matters within the realm of their responsibility.
- Working experience with DOD, in particular Navy Office of the General Counsel (OGC), Navy International Program Office (Navy IPO), Navy Systems Commands (SYSCOM), Naval Supply Systems Command, Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS), Department of State (DoS), and other organizations.
- Knowledgeable of Navy, DoD, and FMS regulations, manuals and instructions that were in place during the 1970’s and 1980’s (Preferred).
- Ability to work and interact with others in a highly diverse and structured/team environment.
- Ability to communication effectively, verbally and in writing, with both external client and internal team members.
- Demonstrated research skills, particularly in financial research.
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to produce initial written drafts of findings
- Independent problem solving with good analytical, troubleshooting, decision-making skills
- Ability to collect, correlate, and analyze case data and transfer same knowledge to team
- Ability to function with limited supervision; Self-motivated, Self-starter
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, especially in accounting/financial;
7+ years’ experience in FMS case management can substitute for degree.
Litigation with financial research/analysis experience a plus.
US Citizenship required.
DoD SECRET clearance required; Top Secret preferred.
