The Talent team drives Lyft’s growth and culture by hiring a diverse team of outstanding people and we are looking for a Talent Operations & Excellence Manager who can analyze, design, and implement strategies with the goal of improving efficiency and effectiveness of the team. In this role, we are looking for someone who will improve operational efficiency through innovation, tools, & designing high quality recruiting processes. We are looking for someone who enjoys digging into processes, seeing opportunities to simplify, implementing new processes and leading education and change across large audiences. This individual will also own all Talent Compliance requirements and work cross functionally to meet the needs of the business. This role will report to the Head of Talent Operations, Programs & Strategy and have a team of 3 to start.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team focused on process mapping and operating model design for the Talent team with a goal of improving recruiting efficiency and candidate experience
  • Evaluate recruiting processes and systems to meet the needs of our rapidly evolving organization (e.g., decentralized vs. centralized processes)
  • Design, improve, and implement new processes with Talent team and cross-functional partners (e.g., HR Operations, Finance)
  • Lead change management efforts to implement new processes
  • Work with XFPs to ensuring data integrity as well as workflow design and systems integration
  • Create documentation of existing and new processes
  • Maintain meaningful and frequent analysis and reporting, including tracking to key goals and objectives
  • Manage a team of Talent Ops Program Managers and/or Coordinators; set and communicate team goals, evaluate and develop the team, appropriately delegate projects/tasks with the aim of providing growth opportunities

Experience:

  • 3+ years of people management experience
  • 4+ years working in Operations, ideally recruiting focused operations
  • Experience setting and driving a roadmap and strategy for your team
  • Proven ability to manage large scale cross-functional projects; run meetings, present reports and make presentations to senior leaders (executive level)
  • Extensive experience in Recruiting and a real passion for people processes
  • Strong process improver, program manager and creative problem solver
  • Experience defining metrics and reporting on blockers and progress to individual and team targets
  • Experience in providing structure and formalizing business lines with program or policy creation
  • Outstanding follow through, self-directed and highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency
  • Skill in handling data and turning it into insight
  • Thrives in ambiguity, uncertainty, and a dynamic business landscape
  • Strong communicator
  • Strong planning, time management, organization, and decision making skills
  • Understanding of compliance (SOX, SOC2) is a plus

Compensation Range: $115,940.00 – $156,860.00
