The Association of Colleges has an exciting opportunity for an experienced training professional to join our established Events and Training team. The team designs and delivers a calendar of specialist further education events and an annual conference for educational professionals working across the FE College sector.
In the role of Training & Development Executive, you will be working in an events and training team led by the Head of Events, Training & Sponsorship. In this role you will be responsible for programme management of a wide range of in-house and open training programmes involving project, client and financial management, ensuring high levels of customer service at all times. The role will also focus on business development and marketing activities, working with the communications team, to support and develop the provision of in-house training.
To be successful in this position you will possess a good understanding of how to assess a client’s needs and convert that into a compelling proposal. You will have excellent attention to detail, enquiry handling and customer service coupled with the ability to manage competing and often urgent tasks with ease. Additionally, you will demonstrate initiative and be able to work diligently under pressure. Strong project, budgeting and financial management skills are a must for this role and familiarisation with CRM and project management systems is a bonus.
The role will involve some UK travel, overnight stays and occasional long hours.
